The training problem

Your team attended an AI course. Nothing changed.

Your team sat through two days of slides, watched demos, nodded along, and got a certificate. Three weeks later, nobody is using AI differently. The prompt library never got opened. The workflows were never built. The budget was spent and the behaviour stayed the same.

This happens because most AI training is built by academics who study AI, not practitioners who deploy it. The exercises are generic. The examples are theoretical. The tools are demonstrated but never practised. And nobody thought about what happens after the session ends.

Your team doesn't need another lecture about what AI can do. They need structured practice with their own tools, their own documents, and their own workflows, led by someone who has done it in their industry, with follow-up support that ensures the skills actually stick.

That is what STOA programmes deliver.

"
Fantastic course, fast paced but 100% worth it. It's clear you enjoy this subject and have the experience to boot. You've been very insightful, thanks Daniel.
Jenny Owen

"
Honestly, the best AI course I've taken by far. This was specific in scope and helpful with useful activities.
Matt Lambert

"
Amazing and knowledgeable. Loved how practical it was, invaluable. And how we got to know loads of other models, not limiting to what we can access in the company. Loved it, thank you so much.
Daria Szymonowicz
Human Resources
"
The Virtual Board of Directors is an awesome idea. Since small businesses can't afford this expertise, it seems so valuable. That new investor role will tell us what needs to be done to make the company more valuable. Thanks for the great example.

"
Very engaging and thought provoking. Daniel, you are very knowledgeable and passionate.
Ursula Bamford

"
The training was very helpful as it mixes between technical and business use cases. Very helpful materials to better understand and very good instructor who is patient and has a great way of teaching.

How we work

Industry specific. Everything shared. Your data protected.

Because training only works when it fits your practice, not when it is generic and off the shelf.

[ built_for_your_industry_diagram ]

Built for your industry

Before any programme starts, we conduct an internal analysis to understand your industry, your tools, your team's AI maturity, and your strategic goals. Then we rebuild every exercise, case study, prompt library and lab around your context and scenarios.

[ your_team_keeps_everything ]

Your team keeps all the resources

You get the soft copy of the learning materials, the templates, the dashboards, the handouts and even the labs for the advanced training events. Whatever was used at the event, you get to keep it and use it afterwards for your workflows.

[ your_data_never_leaves_control ]

Your data never leaves your control

We deliver in whatever security setup your organisation requires. Clean laptops, sandboxed cloud labs, dummy datasets, local AI models that never touch the public internet. Your IT and compliance teams set the rules, we build the training around them.

Why STOA

Why train your team with us.

Harvard-backed research

We have collaborated with Harvard's Kempner Institute for the Study of Natural and Artificial Intelligence on how AI applies to professional learning. That research is integrated into every curriculum we deliver.

30-day post-programme support

Training doesn't end when the session does. Every programme includes 30 days of follow-up Q&A availability and resources to ensure lasting behaviour change.

Flexible delivery formats

In-house at your offices, public open-enrolment courses, or live virtual via Zoom, Teams, and Meet. Same depth and rigour in every format. Global delivery across all time zones.

Tool-agnostic skills

Whether your organisation uses Copilot, ChatGPT, Gemini, or Claude, the principles we teach work across all LLMs. No vendor lock-in. Skills that last beyond the next product update.

Practitioner-led training

We teach what works today, not what worked six months ago. Our instructors are active practitioners who deliver AI in production daily. When the tools change, our curriculum changes with them.

Google Certificate included

Every programme includes a guided pathway to earn a Google AI certificate, giving your team an additional industry-recognised credential alongside their STOA certification.

Our training methodology

Three frameworks behind every programme.

Whatever programme you choose, it follows three proven instructional frameworks from design to delivery to evaluation.

Delivery

TEA™ Delivery Framework

  • T Theory · core concepts & frameworks
  • E Examples · live demos & case studies
  • A Application · hands-on exercises & practice

Our signature approach structures every module into three phases for maximum retention and practical application.

Design

ADDIE Instructional Design

  • A Analyse · assess learner needs
  • D Design · structure the learning path
  • D Develop · build materials & activities
  • I Implement · deliver the programme
  • E Evaluate · measure outcomes & refine

The industry-standard model for course design and learning alignment.

Evaluation

Kirkpatrick Model

  • L1 Reaction · participant satisfaction
  • L2 Learning · knowledge & skills gained
  • L3 Behaviour · on-the-job application
  • L4 Results · business impact & ROI

The globally recognised four-level framework for measuring training effectiveness, from initial reaction to long-lasting post-training effects.

Common questions

Frequently asked questions

What is the minimum group size for in-house training?

We deliver in-house programmes for groups of 8 or more. For smaller teams, we recommend our public open-enrolment courses, or we can arrange a combined session with participants from other organisations.

Can you customise the training to our specific industry?

Yes. Every programme begins with a Training Needs Analysis where we rebuild exercises, case studies, prompt libraries and labs around your industry, tools, and strategic goals.

Do participants receive a certificate?

Yes. Every delegate receives a STOA Institute certificate, plus a guided pathway to earn the Google AI certificate as an additional industry-recognised credential.

What happens after the training ends?

Every programme includes 30 days of post-programme Q&A availability and access to resources to ensure the skills translate into on-the-job behaviour change.

How far in advance should we book an in-house programme?

We recommend booking four to six weeks in advance to allow time for the Training Needs Analysis and full materials customisation. Faster turnarounds are possible on request.

What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy?

Cancellations made more than 14 days before the programme are fully refundable. Rescheduling is offered free of charge with 7 days' notice, subject to availability.

Which programme should we start with?

For most teams, the Generative AI & Prompt Engineering programme is the foundational starting point. Leaders shaping AI policy should begin with AI Strategy & Governance.

Can we combine multiple programmes?

Yes. Many enterprises run all three core programmes as a structured pathway, qualifying delegates for the Certified Enterprise AI Leader (CEAL) credential.

Do you deliver virtually?

Yes. We deliver live virtual sessions via Zoom, Teams, and Google Meet with the same depth and rigour as our in-person programmes, across all time zones.

How quickly can you deliver?

For standard programme content, we can deliver within two weeks. For bespoke and heavily customised programmes, four to six weeks is the typical lead time.

Don't wait

Your competitors are already training their teams.

Every week without structured AI training costs your organisation in productivity, quality, and competitive positioning. The teams that invest in AI skills today will be the ones leading AI adoption across your business tomorrow.
